Named in a tribute to the ‘Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo’s’ premier address, ‘One Galle Face’, the ‘Table One’ intersperses Sri Lankan and Asian relishes with Continental delights.

The Menu

Its long buffet spreads and the a la carte menu encapsulate a range of international culinary flavours, spanning from exotic to the sophisticated. The starter collection hosts an array of delights, including Cold Mezze Boards, Dahi Papadi, Caesar Salad and Norwegian Smoked Salmon.

In the main selections, richly-flavoured Navaratna Korma, Butter Chicken, Prawn Masala, Aloo Gobi and Biryani celebrate the creative spirit of Indian gastronomy while Rice, Black Pork Curry, Chicken Stew and the flatbread and meat based griddle fry-up, Kottu, chase a mélange of Sri Lankan flavours. Veggie Panino, Beef Burgers, Chicken Schnitzel, Fettuccini, Mixed Grill Sausage and Pappardelle bring a bouquet of European culinary notes.

The Experience

Designed to have a market-esque ring to it, the ‘Table One’ is deeply reminiscent of the buzzing atmosphere found within a Colombo’s market. Nestled in the hotel’s 3rd level, the spectacular restaurant accommodates 292 diners. Gorgeous views of the Indian Ocean and tree inspired décor accentuate its visual atmosphere.
