International Conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage

In a bid to further studies on and bring to light the richness of folklore, the Department of Anthropology at the University of Jayawardenepura cements a platform across which field veteran and academic expert share their findings and research on local traditions, customs and beliefs which makes up an integral part of Sri Lankan heritage and history. Marked as one of the first conferences in this field of study, the event takes place at the university’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
